Mperium™ is a highly configurable, Windows-based, enterprise software foundation developed by NCR Government Systems that provides a flexible set of features and services required to meet the diverse needs of government customers. Mperium provides transaction processing and management functions for both retail and non-retail applications across counter, kiosk, tablet, and mobile phone platforms.
Mperium’s foundation utilizes XML metadata for customizing workflows, menus, user interfaces, external system interfaces, and to integrate with a wide selection of retail and non-retail peripherals. Its solid base of business services provides the option to add customized extensions as well.
This foundation means that any changes, extensions or new applications can be developed quickly and efficiently using the Mperium building blocks. The NCR Professional Services team is available to make changes, or if requested, NCR will include documentation and a set of tools that will enable customers to modify the application or add reports in the future without help from NCR.
For enterprise reporting and managing the kiosk network, the Mperium Enterprise Management System is also available. This is a web-based interface that provides a configurable dashboard with up to date financial information, alerts, configuration management and access to reports.
